Farewell 2021 – it’s been yet another tough year in business. Covid-19 has continued to cause enormous complications for so many! The fact we’re still standing is a testament to both our mental and physical strength. But it’s time to let go.
A new year is approaching and that, for many of us, brings with it huge relief. We look forward to a year with less restrictions and long for more in-person events and meetings. 2022 is currently a blank page, but it may already bear the weight of everyone’s expectations heavily.
At the risk of breaking the page, I want to start by saying; next year I plan to hit the ground running. I already have a long list of to-do’s for 2022, I’m challenging myself to think bigger and strive towards new and exciting goals. Although, it’s important to look back and learn from years gone by, this year I’m putting a lot more of my energy into looking forward, and I don’t think I’m alone with this view. Many businesses I’ve spoken to this year have also spoken in excited voices about the plans they have for the year ahead. Perhaps, that energy is catching, if so, I hope it rubs off on you too!
The Exciting Bits
Despite the pandemic, this year has had its highlights both personally and for the business. Being asked to be on Black Country Radio was a wonderful achievement and something I really enjoyed. You can still listen to that recording here. I also completed a virtual walk from Lands End to John O’Groats, which was a great mental focus and supported the planting of trees. Elite PA Solutions also featured in the Institute of Directors (IoD) Magazine – a two page spread on outsourcing your operational duties. Somewhere in between all this lot, I also found time to start looking at universities for my daughter.
So it’s been a busy year, and I’m happy to confirm that myself and my associates continue to love what we do as PAs every single day of the week.
Thank you
I’d particularly thank the associates who seamlessly step in and step up to go above and beyond to deliver. Some of them have doubled their hours this year to support our clients, and it’s this commitment that powers the business forward!
I would like to thank our clients who continue to share and demonstrate our core values as a business. It’s just one of the reasons we love being in your corners. If you’ve referred us to others in your network, we thank you for trusting us.
Thank you to all my network contacts you have listened, supported and so freely offered your advice and guidance. Thank you to my inner circle who have stood by my side, you’ll know who you are, but without your support I’d no doubt be in a heap on the floor, feeling very overwhelmed.
Happy Christmas to all and a very happy New Year too. Remember at times of struggle, whether it’s personal or business related we are here for you and for each other.
